From time to time challengers raise an objection about the claims of Jesus. Namely, they question whether Jesus himself claimed to be God.
This kind of claim most often will come from members of non-orthodox (usually cultic) traditions such as Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and monists.
Of course, one could easily build a case from Scripture that Jesus did, in fact, make such claims.
Due to the ubiquitous acceptance of this doctrine, the burden of proof is on the person who thinks that millions of past and present Christians have understood the Bible wrong on this point.
But here I want to present a simple rebuttal, in the form of a question: Why was Jesus killed?
Watch the video to find out why I think this question goes a long way to shut down this objection before it ever gets off the ground.
